You can now choose between a Cross, Plus, Circle or disable the crosshair within the Crosshair Options screen. Similar to the improved options for the Gunner Directional HUD above, players will now be able to select between different Crosshair Indicators for their Impact Point Crosshair.

We have also included the ability to select between Default, Legacy, Both or Disable this HUD feature within the Options screen. There is also a host of new bug fixes and improvements that should get Battlefield 2042 prepped for Season 7. On top of that, Battlefield 2042 is updating its HUD for several aircraft, making it a bit easier for players to see the battlefield and take out enemies. This will ensure that your servers are open longer during active Seasons and downtime between Seasons. The most notable of these is that Dice is updating Battlefield 2042's Persistent Servers systems.

Update 6.4.0 also brings several backend improvements. Doing so will earn them Ascension Points that can be spent to buy vehicles, making it a bit easier to dominate the battlefield. That includes the Arkangel Directive, which puts players into 24v24 battles where they need to control rotating objectives. Because of that, Battlefield 2042 fans shouldn't expect any major overhauls, but Dice is introducing a few needed changes that should please most players. This is the final update before Season 7 arrives in March, making it the last time players will get new content before moving on.

Today, the team revealed that Update 6.4.0 will launch next week. Many Battlefield 2042 fans are looking forward to Season 7 dropping in a few months, but developer Dice isn't quite finished with Season 6.
